Superfood Chocolate Smoothie

A rich and decadent smoothie that is perfect for breakfast or a late afternoon snack. Mesquite powder or meal adds a wonderful rich flavour, is high in protein, and mineral rich.

Ingredients
  1. 2 cups almond milk (any nut milk will work wonderfully)
  2. 1-2 frozen bananas
  3. 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  4. 2-3 dates, soaked and pitted
  5. 1/4 tsp raw mesquite powder
  6. Few dashes of cinnamon
  7. Pinch of sea salt
  8. 1 tsp each of hemp hearts and cacao nibs for garnish
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth
  2. Top with cacao nibs and hemp hearts.
Notes
  1. Vegan and gluten free.
