A rich and decadent smoothie that is perfect for breakfast or a late afternoon snack. Mesquite powder or meal adds a wonderful rich flavour, is high in protein, and mineral rich.
Superfood Chocolate Smoothie

- 2 cups almond milk (any nut milk will work wonderfully)
- 1-2 frozen bananas
- 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 2-3 dates, soaked and pitted
- 1/4 tsp raw mesquite powder
- Few dashes of cinnamon
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 tsp each of hemp hearts and cacao nibs for garnish
- Add all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth
- Top with cacao nibs and hemp hearts.
- Vegan and gluten free.
